Casa Familia

Casa Familia is a unique social project in Bogota, Colombia. It is a home for at-risk children and youth who have been victims of abuse, abandonment, and/or neglect. Founded in 2005, Casa Familia has helped over 1,500 children and youth from low-income families. At Casa Familia, children and youth receive comprehensive services such as shelter, education, psychological, medical, and legal support. The organization also provides job training, recreational activities, and mentoring opportunities. In addition, Casa Familia works with local schools, organizations, and government agencies to provide support and resources to the children and youth in their care. Casa Familia is committed to helping children and youth in Bogota reach their full potential. The organization strives to create a safe and nurturing environment where children and youth can thrive. Casa Familia is a great example of how local organizations can make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children and youth.
